What is BHI?
In a nutshell, this blog is an extension of my own investment journal which is where I record daily thoughts on stocks I’m researching and my ideas about portfolio management. This blog will consist of two main types of articles:
Specific stock investments I find interesting or businesses I think are worth studying
General thoughts on portfolio management, investing concepts, and other related ideas from books or articles I’ve read
What BHI is not:
It’s important to note what this site is not: it is not a stock recommendation service. I will mention lots of stocks and have lots of thoughts on companies, and some of these will be stocks I’m investing in (which I will disclose of course), but this should not be viewed as a stock ideas newsletter or any kind of investment recommendation. Please make sure to be careful before making any investment decisions. I encourage you to do your own work and take your time while studying any of the companies I mention on this site. I am a very long-term investor who thinks in terms of decade long chunks and my research process is very methodical, careful and diligent. Please have the same mindset while consuming the articles on this site.
My number one goal for this site is to provide an educational resource. Content should be food for thought that you can use as nutrients to build your own body of work. Some ideas will be actionable and I hope they more than pay for the cost of the site, but the overarching goal here is to help make you a better thinker, a better business analyst, and a better long-term investor.
